The last secrets of communist cuisine

Czerwony Wieprz” (The Red Hog) is an inn-style restaurant, acknowledging the chequered history of Poland with a nudge and a wink. Serving popular traditional dishes from the communist era in Poland, known as the PRL, The Red Hog’s mission is to preserve original recipes and the spirit of those times.

The Red Hog offers culinary hits from the Polish cuisine of the PRL period, alongside dishes from former Eastern Bloc countries which are no longer on the world map today.

Among the guests of The Red Hog, there have been many stars of culture, art, and sports from around the world, including Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Caroline Wozniacki, Karim Benzema, Nouriel Rubini and many more. The Red Hog was selected by “The New York Times”; as one of the 10 reasons to visit Warsaw.
